Artist Conversations: Haidee Ng - Architectural Designer

Welcome to another episode of Artist Conversations. Each week, we get up close and personal with an artist and learn about them and their craft. This week, we’re very lucky to have with us all the way from Hong Kong, Haidee Ng!

I first met Haidee at Edinburgh University where she completed her Masters of Art in Architecture, before returning to her native Hong Kong to complete her post-graduate studies, and joining architectural firm Thomas Chow Architects.

Having lived in the old towns of Edinburgh and Cambridge and in Hong Kong with its modern designs, Haidee shares about architectural conservation and cultural heritage. She also discusses how aesthetic and practical considerations come together in each design, and how innovation constantly transforms the way we view spaces.

This interview has been brought to you by Aestheletic: we believe in making art accessible for all. We bring fine art from our gallery to the streets by transforming it into urban wear.
